Pay: $30.39 - $31.88 per hour
Job Summary:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for managing the payroll process for the Department of Nursing for both permanent and temporary team members. Responsible for also tracking benefit time, leaves, and overtime. Own the orientation and ongoing staff development of the staffing coordinators.
Responsibilities:
- Know and understand the staffing matrix of each Care Center and collaborates with the Director of Patient Care to provide appropriate and adequate staffing coverage
- Place orders and secure qualified personnel from agencies
- Establish and update files of current licenses and malpractice information from agency personnel
- Receive and process all billing statements for services of staffing agencies
- Record all emergency and sick calls from staff and cover sick calls by contacting available staff or staffing agencies.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or Equivalency required; BA or BS degree preferred
- 1-2 years related experience, 5 yrs previous payroll experience preferred
- Experience using UKG
- Experience using Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office or compatible word processing package
Education
Required- High School Diploma or GED or better
