Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $41.25 per hour
Job Description:
The Painter will conduct indoor and outdoor patching and painting of a general nature, including all preparatory work and color mixing and matching.
This position will support the main campus and off-site locations.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare surfaces with appropriate medium to receive paint or wallpaper
- Plaster and spackle as necessary
- Mix paint to create a variety of required colors
- Apply paint to surface using brushes and/or rollers
- Prepare paste for hanging wallpaper, and uses correct tools to remove same
- Prepare and apply stains and finishes to woodwork
- Perform all painting maintenance
Requirements:
- High School diploma or Equivalency required
- Trade School graduate preferred
- 5 yeas experience as a painter within the past 15 years
- Spackle, Paint, Texturize experience
- Knowledge of CMMS preferred
