Position Summary:
The Provider Recruitment Leader will be responsible for overseeing the entire provider recruitment function, ensuring that our organization attracts highly qualified and mission-driven physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to fill a variety of clinical roles. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, market medical directors, clinical leadership, operations, and other key stakeholders to implement innovative recruitment strategies and build a robust provider workforce that supports our organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy Development: Lead the provider recruitment department, developing and implementing a comprehensive, data-driven recruitment strategy to meet current and future staffing needs that will allow the company to fulfill its mission of expanding access to patient care.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and clinical teams to understand provider needs and priorities and develop tailored recruitment plans.
Branding and Marketing: Oversee the creation and execution of provider recruitment marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, employer branding, and outreach to professional networks and academic institutions.
Talent Acquisition: Identify and engage top provider talent through a variety of channels including networking, industry conferences, job fairs, online platforms, and direct sourcing.
Retention: Collaborate with market medical directors, operations, and HR on strategies to retain top talent, including developing onboarding and integration programs that promote long-term success and job satisfaction.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive candidate experience.
Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to provider recruitment, providing regular reports and updates to executive leadership on progress and outcomes.
Budget Management: Oversee the recruitment budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
Team Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the provider recruitment team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and career growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a senior-level provider recruiter or in an executive Ops/HR/Recruitment role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
In-depth knowledge of the provider recruitment landscape, including trends, challenges, and effective strategies.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and executive leadership.
Experience in creating and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
Understanding of healthcare compliance, credentialing, and licensing processes.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize processes.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
