Receiving Manager
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
Provide effective supervision and operational support to the Receiving Department while assisting other warehouse departments as needed. Ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations while maintaining company standards for quality, sanitation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Receiving associates and office clerks.
- Assign work, schedule hours, breaks, and vacations, and support employee performance evaluations.
- Assist warehouse supervisors and associates with company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
- Review customer concerns and discrepancy reports and assist with timely resolution.
- Ensure proper sanitation, safety, and organization throughout the warehouse and offices.
- Monitor and communicate quality and productivity expectations.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Support warehouse data-entry and WMS processes.
- Maintain flexibility to work various shifts based on business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or additional education preferred.
- Prior warehouse supervisory experience; wholesale/distribution experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to effectively lead and communicate with employees and management at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to safely access and work throughout all areas of a warehouse.
- Ability to work in a distribution center with varying temperatures.

Salary : $61,000 - $64,000
