Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to perform lawn maintenance tasks
- Mow, trim, edge, and fertilize lawns to achieve healthy, manicured appearances
- Apply pest control treatments and perform weed management to protect plant health
- Conduct soil preparation, planting, and irrigation setup for new landscaping projects
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with general farming or agricultural activities related to landscape maintenance when needed
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and tools, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for use
Skills
- Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest control methods
- Knowledge of landscaping principles and basic farming or agricultural practices
- Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers
- Familiarity with farm machinery and land management equipment is a plus
- Strong driving skills with a valid license for operating company vehicles safely
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and equipment maintenance
