Janitor/Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitizing to uphold high cleanliness standards
• Maintain floor care through buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized machinery spaces
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others
• Keep detailed logs of cleaning schedules and completed tasks to ensure accountability and consistency

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Experience with various cleaning methods including residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks throughout shifts
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Must be able to Pass an extensive background check
• Be able to work independantly
• Be willing to schedule appointments and personal matters around work schedule.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
