Housekeeping Supervisor

We are now hiring for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the environmental services department in a respected skilled nursing facility.

Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. This role requires a hands-on leader who is organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of appearance and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and infection-control regulations

• Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms and common areas

• Implement cleaning procedures and quality control systems

• Oversee inventory, ordering, and proper use of supplies/equipment

• Collaborate with Nursing and Administration to support resident satisfaction

• Lead by example with professionalism, empathy, and strong work ethic

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping (healthcare or hospitality preferred)

• Skilled in team leadership, communication, and organization

• Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols and infection-control practices

• Ability to multitask and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
