As Business Office Manager, your main task is to assist in billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care insurance, private, and other payer types.

Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for billing, follow up, and appealing various claims to ensure payment is received.
- The candidate must be results-focused and detail-oriented.
- Must work well with residents and families as well as co-workers.
- Must be able to meet billing deadlines and follow a calendar to ensure that other deadlines are met.
- Everything that is serviced in the patients is collected
- Make sure no pending bills, no aging collections
- Executing, Review, & Process Payments
- Retrieve Authorization and process refunds
- Write off, collections, and postings of funds received for service rendered
- LTC- MediCal
- Medicare / Medicaid
- Educate patients and families on insurance
- Proficient with PCC - Point Click Care, Excel, Quickbooks
Qualifications:
- Ideally three (3) years’ of BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables
- College degree preferred with emphasis in accounting or business-related.
- Must have prior experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections.
- You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
- Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience is preferred.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal; and be able to problem solve.
