We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Admissions Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the admission process for new residents and ensuring a smooth transition into the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the admissions process from referral through resident arrival.

• Review referral and admission documentation for completeness and accuracy.

• Communicate with hospitals, families, physicians, insurance providers, and referral sources.

• Verify insurance benefits and assist with authorization requirements.

• Coordinate with nursing, social services, and other departments to prepare for new admissions.

• Maintain accurate and timely admission records.

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.

• Follow up with referral sources and assist with census development.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related setting preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of insurance verification and healthcare documentation is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
