NOW HIRING: BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the daily business and administrative operations of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Office
Manage Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing
Handle billing, collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
Verify insurance and financial information for new admissions
Maintain accurate census and resident financial records
Assist with Medicaid applications and eligibility documentation
Process and follow up on billing claims and corrections
Maintain resident trust accounts and financial records
Prepare reports and provide financial information to facility leadership
Work closely with the Administrator, Admissions, Nursing, and other departments
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Business Office Manager, Business Office Coordinator, Billing Manager, or similar role
Healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing, and collections
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing/accounting systems
High school diploma required; college or business/accounting coursework preferred
