Position Overview
The Admissions Coordinator serves as a key liaison between prospective patients and referring organizations. You will guide individuals through the admissions process, ensure all required documentation is complete, and provide hands-on support to facilitate a positive and seamless entry into Recuperative Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and referral partners
- Coordinate and manage the admissions process from referral to acceptance
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Communicate clearly with hospitals, social workers, and referral organizations
- Provide compassionate guidance and support to patients during intake
- Maintain organized and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth admissions and transitions
Qualifications
- Prior experience in admissions, healthcare coordination, case management, or related role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
