JOB SUMMARY:
Provides analysis, report, and security functions for users of mid and large scale systems. Performs duties listed below in management and administration of mid and large scale systems delivering a high level of customer service under the supervision of the Information Technology Manager. Ability to work independently, make independent decisions, lead and guide others. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. Values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves on the HIPAA committee to develop procedures and enforce of HIPAA standards for Information Systems.
- Monitors and updates interfaces on interface engines.
- Prepares specifications for new systems and significant modifications to existing systems.
- Performs routine upgrades of systems.
- Identify and evaluate issues based on customer need and communication. Develop solutions and implement procedures to mitigate system failures.
- Provides users with timely status reports and resolutions regarding assigned problems/change requests.
- Supports PC Desktop, Printer, Laptop, Tablet, Phone, and Network equipment.
- Perform key roles in the development and progression of organization projects as they pertain to IS/IT.
- Ability to train/present knowledge transfer effectively ensuring proper understanding of workflows and technology.
- Support end users with access\authentication request.
- Lead or manage projects that may encompass several other departments within the Organization to implement more effective information systems.
- Prepares accurate documentation of changes made to systems managed by the Applications Analyst.
- Researches and solves Information System problems, including problems from clinical areas.
- Support operations of mid-range computers, including job scheduling and monitoring, menu maintenance and master file maintenance.
- Performs audit control activities related to system user departments.
- Works closely with the Clinical Analyst to support systems throughout the Organization.
- Retrieves data and reports from various systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot background jobs and alerts for HIS system.
- Participates in IS Department on-call rotation.

WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Office environment with normal levels of noise. Must be able to move or position 50 lbs. independently. Be able to work in high stress situations with frequent interruptions. Travel to offsite/clinics necessary. The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue.
CONTACTS WITH OTHERS:
Contact with all Associates, computer hardware and software vendors, and physician's office staff.
EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Personal computers, minicomputers, and other related hardware and software. Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
Requirements:Two (2) years' experience in healthcare information systems.
Shift: 1st Shift
Compensation: $23.54 - $35.30 per hour based on total years of experience.
Salary : $24 - $35
