Overview

As the Product Development Manager at EnVogue, you will drive the end-to-end development of innovative hard goods, such as but not limited to furniture, lighting, frames, gaming accessories, and tabletop items. You will bridge the gap between creative design and manufacturing, ensuring all products meet quality, margin goals, and delivery timelines for our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from initial concept to final production.
• Convert design concepts into precise, production-ready tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs), defining specs for materials (wood, metal, glass, plastic), construction methods, and finishes.
• Direct global vendors through sampling, mold refinement, and tooling adjustments.
• Troubleshoot structural or quality defects in prototypes.
• Partner with Design and Production to ensure products hit target margins; negotiate costing with factories and identify material or construction alternatives to lower costs without sacrificing design intent.
• Maintain development calendars to ensure 100% on-time delivery of production-ready samples.
• Conduct competitive research on materials, pricing, and construction innovations to guide assortment strategy across the home and lifestyle categories.

Qualifications

• 5 years of product development experience specifically within home hard goods or related consumer hard lines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Industrial Design, Home Products, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials (wood, metal, molded plastics), tooling/molds, and factory capabilities.
• Strong ability to manage high-volume development calendars and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, direct communication style for cross-functional teamwork and vendor accountability.

Job Details: In-office, 5 days a week (Monday–Friday)
