Overview
As a CAD Artist, you are the technical and creative engine behind our surface patterns. You will translate emerging trends into high-precision digital artwork, seamless repeats, and production-ready files across all product categories. Your role is to bridge the gap between initial inspiration and the final manufactured product through expert digital craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original prints, intricate seamless repeats, and artwork for home categories.
- Forecast and curate seasonal trend stories and signature color palettes.
- Build digital mappings and renderings to visualize artwork on finished goods.
- Partner with global vendors to ensure technical file integrity and color accuracy in production.
- Partner with leadership to balance creative volume with SKU targets and brand success.
- Maintain and organize a digital library of all artwork, repeats, and color-ways.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile/Fashion/Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related.
- 3 years work experience in surface design, CAD artistry, or print development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop (indexing, mappings, repeats).
- Strong understanding of color theory, print/pattern composition, and scale.
- Strong technical knowledge of digital printing, screen printing, and file preparation for manufacturing.
