Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the office, employee breakroom, and restrooms
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as painting and cleaning carpets
- Assist in sweeping and removing trash
- Ensure heating and cooling systems are operational
- Maintain a neat and orderly janitors room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
- Wash windows
- Maintenance and landscaping using tolls such as a weedwhacker.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance and landscaping
- Ability to keep the office clean and orderly
- Ability to interact with other employees and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prolonged periods standing
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
