Assistant Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress using tools such as Prolog, ProCore, or Primavera.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper implementation on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Utilize software like HeavyBid for cost estimation and budget management.
• Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all phases of construction.
• Manage subcontractors and labor resources, ensuring optimal performance and productivity on the construction site.
  
  

Skills

• Strong background in Construction Management with proven experience in overseeing large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for design and modeling purposes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Competence in blueprint reading for accurate interpretation of project plans.
• Experience with project scheduling tools such as Primavera or Prolog for effective timeline management.
• Knowledge of HeavyBid for budgeting and cost estimation processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
