RN Registered Nurse – Med Surg /ED/ICU
Location: Hudson, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time | Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $30 – $42 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Shift Differentials: Night $4.75 | Weekend $3.00
Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit in a well-established acute care hospital in Hudson, FL. This opportunity is ideal for nurses seeking a stable, growth-oriented environment with strong clinical exposure and advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide direct nursing care to Med-Surg patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and update care plans accordingly
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or Compact; FL license required within 90 days)
- ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
- Acute care experience required (no recent LTAC experience)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
Additional Requirements
- Onsite interview required
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Strong EMR and documentation skills preferred
