What You’ll Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you'll support manufacturing and project operations by receiving incoming materials, preparing customer shipments, building custom packaging, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You'll play a critical role in ensuring materials and products move efficiently throughout the facility while meeting ENTEK’s quality standards.

In This Role, You Will

• Locate parts according to Bills of Materials (BOMs), sales orders, and other project requirements.
• Inventory, package, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring materials arrive at customer sites in excellent condition
• Utilize UPS WorldShip software for small parcel and expedited shipments.
• Design, order materials for, and construct custom pallets, skids, crates, and shipping containers for high-value equipment
• Package components and kits in a manner that supports easy customer inventory and assembly
• Print, organize, and include drawing packages and documentation with shipments.
• Load outbound shipments and coach over-the-road drivers on proper securement methods to prevent damage during transit.
• Receive incoming materials and reconcile deliveries against packing slips and purchase documentation.
• Account for incoming parts and materials within the ERP system
• Tag, organize, and place received materials into appropriate project kits and storage locations.
• Alert internal stakeholders when expedited or priority materials arrive
• Identify Kanban inventory items and reconcile them with associated cards.
• Deliver materials and supplies throughout the facility and manage inventory locations.
• Assemble project kits using BOMs as checklists to ensure completeness.
• Support priority deliveries and material pickups as business needs require
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S activities, and continuous improvement efforts. ENTEK is seeking applications for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon, location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required).
  
  

Requirements: What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and a commitment to customer service and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work on-site in Henderson, Nevada
• Strong time-management skills and ability to self-manage work priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and internal customers
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and Bills of Materials
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to define problems, collect information, and develop practical solutions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Experience with UPS WorldShip or similar shipping software
• Experience building custom crates, pallets, and skids
• Forklift experience
• CDL preferred for employees supporting driving responsibilities
  
  

Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Employees may occasionally be required to work 12-hour shifts and should be comfortable spending the majority of the workday on their feet supporting shipping, receiving, and material handling operations.
