POSITION TITLE: Shipping & Receiving Clerk STATUS: Non-exempt
DEPARTMENT: Material Control
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping material; receiving, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
High School Diploma or GED, and/or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Control preferred. Manufacturing and forklift experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, do basic math, and communicate effectively.
Work Environment:
The work environment is of moderate temperature, sterile environment with a moderately loud noise level, hearing protection is required. Gloves must be worn and changed frequently and continuously throughout the day. Work may be performed near moving mechanical parts dependent upon task.

- Process production orders from the floor by counting and checking accuracy
- Receive deliveries
- Package orders securely
- Ship to customers using UPS, FedEx or other acceptable means of transportation as approved by management
- Processes end-of-day reports
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic math skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to pay attention to details
- Able to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to communicate with all departments, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
- Must be a team player
- Good computer skills
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift
- Must be reliable and dependable; ready and able to work at the start of each shift
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
