Entegee Engineering is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a direct hire, onsite role in Lynchburg, VA. This position supports core financial operations including monthly reporting, project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and system improvements. The role requires strong analytical capability, experience in manufacturing finance, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Duties
- Support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and consolidated reporting.
- Oversee revenue recognition activities using percentage-of-completion methods and monitor project financial performance.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports related to capital spending, cost initiatives, operational metrics, and leadership presentations.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements within the company’s ERP environment by assisting with system updates, workflows, and user support.
- Participate in annual budgeting and long-term planning activities.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, including variance analysis and modeling.
- Maintain the accuracy of financial system integrations and ensure timely submission of site-level data to corporate.
- Maintain internal control documentation and support compliance efforts, including audits and SOX-related activities.
- Complete reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting and project financial reporting.
- Proficiency with integrated ERP systems such as Oracle, IFS, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Advanced skills in Excel with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
