Senior mechanical designer supporting the design, layout, and routing of mechanical systems for complex industrial facilities.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 8 years of AutoCAD design experience
- 4 years of Revit design experience
- 5 years of industrial building mechanical design experience
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes
- Strong working knowledge of the International Mechanical Code (IMC)
- Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers, or other advanced manufacturing facilities
- Technical or Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline
Preferred Skills
- Industrial mechanical system layout and routing
- P&ID development
- Construction plan, section, and detail production
- Mechanical design support across planning, concept, and detailed design phases
- Revit modeling
- AutoCAD drafting
- Mechanical code application in industrial building environments
- Coordination with contractors and internal engineering disciplines
Job Responsibilities
- Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems
- Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details
- Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design
- Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines
- Apply advanced knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy
- Support mechanical design execution for semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, and advanced manufacturing environments
