Mechanical Design Engineer
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering or similar degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 3 years engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (Catia considered)
- Experience designing parts for automation equipment including fixtures and brackets
- Background from Automation Equipment Companies preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R
Responsibilities:
- Use CAD tools to simulate, test, and document new process tooling and fixtures
- Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment
- Conduct, document, and track design reviews
