What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician position at Entegee?
Required Experience: Candidates must have experience wiring electrical control panels.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Wire and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
- Drill and tap holes to mount control units or create openings for components, wiring, and instrumentation.
- Use a variety of hand tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and install a variety of electronic components, including PLCs, relays, indicator lights, switches, and other electrical devices.
- Mark up documentation as needed to initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through the Engineering department.
- Perform tasks such as deburring, grinding, and sawing, and operate hand pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility.
- Install completed assemblies and subassemblies into cases and cabinets
