Electrical Harness Assembler – 1st Shift
Schedule: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday (onsite)
Pay Rate: $22–$25 per hour
Position Overview
The Electrical Harness Assembler is responsible for routing, tying, and assembling insulated wires to create wire harnesses used in machines that control electrical and electronic equipment or systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical documentation, and hands-on experience using hand tools in a production environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of prior electrical wiring or production-related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience using a variety of hand tools
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain company safety standards at all times
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring schematics, work orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Cut, strip, crimp, and assemble materials used in electrical harness assemblies
- Operate braiding machines as required
- Identify and evaluate mechanical or material issues and report as needed
- Place completed assemblies in designated finished goods areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
