Summary: Seeking an Accountant specialized in fixed assets to support financial statement preparation and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business with Accounting concentration
- Relevant accounting experience including fixed asset accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
- Record and validate journal entries related to fixed assets and general ledger activity
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset subledgers and related financial systems
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and corporate teams
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis
- Drive process improvements and automation within accounting workflows
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
