Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in several areas of accounting and administration within a growing business in the retail and agricultural industry.
Duties:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivables
- Manage Compliance with outside agencies
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation
- Manage journal entries, invoices, and other accounting transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Assist with Administrative and Compliance tasks within the company
- Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting Manager to support overall department goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
