We're looking for a detail-driven Payroll Operations Specialist with exceptional Excel Skills (think VLOOPUPs, pivot tables, complex reporting) to keep our payroll processes sharp, compliant and audit-ready. I this, you'll dive deep into payroll reporting and reconciliations, respond to audit requests, manage garnishments and refunds, and ensure flawless monthly payroll and tax reporting. If you thrive on precision, love solving problems with data, and bring strong analytical horsepower to payroll operations, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain unclaimed property process for payroll
- Support Payroll Tax Analyst
- Conduct research on any payroll out of balances – Workday Financials
- Handle audit requests received from legal or payroll
- Analyze and report on key garnishment payments requiring refund
- Perform and report monthly payroll, employment tax, and garnishment reconciliation
- Audit and action new facility set up with third party vendors.
- Approve DailyPay and off cycle checks as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in payroll processing (multi-state experience a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred)
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to do well in a fast paced, multi-tasking work environment
- Must be a team player, motivated and able to work under pressure during peak periods
Additional Information
Salary: $30-$35 DOE; may be eligible for bonus
