Position Overview
Ensign Partners is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and manage client insurance service needs within our insurance division.
This role is responsible for providing proactive, day-to-day client service, managing policy changes and renewals, and supporting the development and maintenance of customized insurance programs for clients. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, acting as both a resource and liaison to ensure their insurance needs are handled accurately and efficiently.
This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday. It is ideal for someone who values organization, responsiveness, and delivering a high level of client service in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive client service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage communications related to new business quotes, renewals, policy changes, audits, and billing
- Prepare applications, proposals, and related materials for both new and existing business
- Understand client exposures, including complex and specialty product lines, and support appropriate coverage recommendations
- Organize and prioritize workflows for assigned book(s) of business to ensure deadlines are met
- Serve as a trusted point of contact and liaison for client insurance needs
- Support Agent Owners and internal team members to help retain and grow client relationships
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within agency management systems
- Assist with administrative tasks, marketing projects, and overall client management processes
- Collaborate with sales professionals to review client exposures, loss experience, and current coverage on a regular basis
Qualifications
- 3β5 years of professional experience in Commercial Lines insurance service required
- Experience managing a generalist book of business preferred
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred
