The Commercial Lines Account Manager provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts.

Essential Tasks:
- Collectively or independently plans, designs and implements appropriate insurance programs for clients that coincide with agency guidelines.
- Maintains knowledge of new developments or changes with various carriers and new Federal/State laws that may affect how our clients conduct business; consults, informs and educates clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures: documents electronic filing accordingly
- Prepares necessary proposals, summaries of insurance and applications, submits or presents to appropriate insureds and carriers, obtains clients’ signatures on all applications, follows up to ensure timely responses
- Prepares summaries of insurance schedules and proposals for account review
- Remarkets, contacts clients and follows up, renews policies by agency standards
- Consults, informs and educates audit procedures to clients.
- Set priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Represents the agency in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes, or resolving grievances; facilitates a productive and amicable working relationship with clients; develops and maintains a positive relationship and rapport with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients’ needs and facilitate the processing of business.
- Seeks referrals from client base and follows through to get new accounts
- Provides mentoring and guidance to Customer Service Representatives.

- 5 ( ) years of previous experience in commercial insurance required
- Active Property & Casualty License required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
- This is an in office role in our Scottsdale, AZ office.
