Position: Enrollment Center Clerk
Reports to: Executive Director Student Services & Enrollment Coordinator
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with college coursework or degree preferred.
- Prior school-based experience and strong computer skills preferred.
- Ability to meet all district requirements related to physical health and citizenship.
- Acceptable alternatives to the listed qualifications may be considered as approved by the Board.
Position Summary: The Enrollment Center Clerk supports district enrollment operations by processing student enrollments and maintaining student records in a timely and accurate manner. Assists families with enrollment-related questions and supports record requests for withdrawn students.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Enroll new students in accordance with district and state requirements.
- Assist parents and guardians with enrollment procedures, including computer-based applications.
- Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding residency, enrollment requirements, and general district information.
- Maintain current knowledge of Oklahoma School Laws, State Immunization requirements related to enrollment (age, residency, etc.).
- Provide courteous, respectful, and customer-focused service to all patrons.
- Ensure school records are shared with appropriate school or department upon receipt and confidential records are managed appropriately.
- Ensure record requests across the district are processed and fulfilled with a primary focus on elementary through Middle School.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Employment Terms: Twelve (12) months classified hourly contract
