Senior Project Manager – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction
Compensation: Up to $185K Base Salary Bonus Vehicle Allowance Full Benefits
I’m currently partnered with a Top ENR General Contractor on a Senior Project Manager opportunity supporting large-scale mission critical/data center projects in the Jeffersonville market.
My client has built a strong reputation for delivering highly complex projects while maintaining a culture centered around long-term employee development, collaboration, and internal growth. Their Ohio operation continues to see major investment within the mission critical sector and they were recently awarded 13 new projects in the area, creating an extremely stable long-term pipeline of work.
The teams are fully staffed with dedicated field operations, VDC, safety, MEP, preconstruction, and project support personnel, allowing Senior PMs to focus on leading projects strategically rather than being stretched thin across multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead all project management efforts from preconstruction through turnover on large-scale data center projects
- Manage project financials, schedules, subcontractor relationships, and client communication
- Partner closely with Superintendents, MEP teams, field leadership, and executive leadership
- Drive project execution while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule expectations
- Lead OAC meetings and maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, and trade partners
- Oversee change management, procurement, forecasting, and risk mitigation
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
- Support long-term operational planning across multiple phases of mission critical projects
Ideal Background
- 8 years of construction project management experience
- Previous experience with mission critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or other highly technical projects
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and complex building systems
- Experience managing projects valued at $50M preferred
- Ability to lead large project teams and communicate effectively with ownership groups
- Proven background managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Data center experience is highly preferred, but candidates from other complex construction sectors will absolutely be considered
