We’re partnering with a well-funded advanced energy company working to rebuild domestic nuclear fuel infrastructure and make clean, reliable baseload power more affordable.
The organization is designing, building, and operating next-generation uranium enrichment systems in the United States. Its technology will support the growth of advanced nuclear energy, AI infrastructure, manufacturing, and other critical industries.
They are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop high-performance, safety-critical software that directly controls complex industrial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop safety-critical embedded software for complex industrial systems.
- Build low-level firmware using C, C and Rust.
- Develop software to control electromechanical actuators and process high-speed sensor signals.
- Design robust control architectures, state machines, and data acquisition systems.
- Implement deterministic and fault-tolerant control logic for mission-critical equipment.
- Own embedded software throughout the full lifecycle, from initial development through deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant STEM discipline.
- 5 years of professional engineering experience.
- Experience developing software in C/C and/or Rust.
- Strong experience with embedded software, firmware, or low-level systems development.
- Solid understanding of core engineering and computer science fundamentals.
