A well-established Connecticut General Contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field operations of a large ground-up multifamily development in the North Haven area.

What You'll Be Working On
- Large ground-up multifamily residential development
- Wood-frame construction over podium
- Site development, utilities, foundations, and building construction
- Project scheduled to run multiple years with additional work already in the pipeline
Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day field operations from sitework through project closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors and maintain an efficient construction schedule.
- Lead daily site activities while ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
- Conduct safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance across the jobsite.
- Work closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and ownership.
- Review schedules, identify potential delays, and proactively solve field challenges.
- Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or multifamily construction projects.
- Experience leading ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, apartment, condominium, or senior living developments.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to lead multiple trades while maintaining quality and safety.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred.
