Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Madison, WI | $115K–$155K Base, Based on Experience
A well-established general contractor in the Madison area is looking to add a Project Manager to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of large-scale commercial projects while continuing to grow within a strong organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation
- Work closely with Superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience managing commercial construction projects
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a general contractor
- Ability to independently manage projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and construction operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing large-scale and complex projects preferred
Salary : $115,000 - $155,000
