Senior Estimator
We are partnered with a newly established EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firm seeking a Senior Estimator to play a foundational role in building the company's estimating function.
This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced leadership team at the ground level, helping develop estimating processes, evaluate software platforms, and support pursuits for complex industrial and design-build projects. The organization has a long-term growth strategy and is focused on scaling quickly within the industrial and advanced manufacturing markets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid evaluations
- Develop estimating processes and recommend software/tools
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
- Partner with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the pursuit process
- Help build and mentor the future estimating team
Qualifications
- 10 years of estimating experience within EPC, industrial construction, mechanical contracting, manufacturing, or design-build
- Experience leading estimates from conceptual budgeting through final proposal
- Strong understanding of labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping build a growing organization
Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000–$200,000 base salary (DOE)
