Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer II to support the design and development of complex electromechanical products. This individual will play a key role in creating innovative, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs while helping projects stay on schedule and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and creating manufacturing documentation for precision-engineered products.
Responsibilities
- Design complex electromechanical systems and components using 3D CAD software
- Develop manufacturing and assembly drawings for production
- Create and maintain engineering documentation for manufacturing and purchasing
- Revise and update released drawings and engineering documentation as needed
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to meet project objectives
- Support product development efforts while maintaining cost, quality, and schedule requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of mechanical design experience
- Strong 3D modeling and CAD experience required
- Experience creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Background designing machinery, automation equipment, electromechanical systems, or precision mechanical products preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
