A well-established, highly respected engineering and infrastructure consulting firm is actively seeking two Construction Engineers to join their growing transportation and infrastructure team in the Lisle area. The roles are open at both the mid-level and more experienced engineers, depending on background and project experience.
This is a field-forward engineering role focused on supporting and executing construction projects, performing inspections, documenting project activities, and collaborating closely with project managers and contractors to ensure quality delivery.

What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Inspecting construction activities and documenting project progress
- Measuring quantities and tracking work completed in the field
- Preparing daily reports and maintaining accurate project documentation
- Supporting project teams to ensure quality, compliance, and schedule alignment
- Working closely with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 3 years for Engineer II and 5 years for Engineer III
- Experience in construction engineering, transportation, or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of construction inspection and documentation processes
- Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil3D
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- PE license or progress toward licensure is a plus
Compensation:
Starting at $60k up to $100k , commensurate with experience
