Job Summary:
Inspects and functionally operates all Endoscopy equipment, electric power instruments and audiovisual equipment to insure optimum safety and performance. Prepares purchase requisitions and disposition of storeroom supplies. Is responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory, processing and maintenance of instruments, scopes and equipment. Processes associated paperwork and maintains records on all equipment. Assists the physician and nurse in the procedure rooms of the Endoscopy Suite under the direction of the Patient Care Director or designee.

Job Summary:
The EndoTechnician is a caregiver who assists the endo team in the scrub role during endo procedures and assists in the preparation of the endo suite area between cases. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and supplies as well as scope cleaning.

Hours: 8am-6pm flex - on call required

Job Essentials:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Endoscopy setting
• Experience in endoscopic reprocessing and management of scopes; knowledgeable regarding infection control standards.
Strong service excellence skills and must be a team player

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical schooling preferred.
SGNA Technical course required if no technical school and no endo experience

Licenses, Registrations & Certifications:

• BLS Certification
SGNA course to be taken if no experience; CEFR Certification required within 2 years of hire
