Job Summary:
The Office Coordinator is responsible for verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorizations, and scheduling for all patients for sleep studies. Responsible for the office operations and performance of the Center for Sleep Medicine. This includes comprehensive referral intake, obtaining insurance benefits/authorization, scheduling of in-lab and home sleep studies, physician and patient phone contact, and equipment dispersal and collection as well as other associated duties as listed below. Reports to the Manager of Sleep Services.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of patient scheduling and insurance benefits/authorization related experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
- Ability to read, write, type, proof, and edit non-routine correspondence, tables, forms, and the like for punctuation, spelling, grammar, and typographical errors as well as draft routine correspondence, perform noncomplex arithmetic calculations, and maintain record keeping and filing systems.
- Knowledge of various insurance information needed to complete accurate and timely pre-registrations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or any other applicable software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all patients, medical center employees and physicians. Must exhibit a professional demeanor and cooperative team approach. Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy.

Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
