Procurement Manager

Enginuity Advantage
Everett, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 1/4/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/18/2026

Why This Role Is Worth Your Time

If you're a procurement leader who enjoys owning strategy while staying close to execution, this role offers a rare balance. You'll step into a highly visible position where your decisions directly impact complex, mission-critical projects—working alongside technical experts in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and shape a procurement function with real influence

  • Build long-term vendor partnerships—not just place orders

  • Work on technically complex projects that demand problem-solving and precision

  • Be trusted as a subject-matter expert, not just a process owner

  • Earn a competitive salary with strong benefits and long-term stability

If you thrive in environments where urgency, accountability, and collaboration are the norm and where smart procurement makes a measurable difference then this could be a compelling next step.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of the procurement program. This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction or a related industry, particularly with purchasing electrical and mechanical equipment.

You'll be responsible for translating technical requirements into accurate purchasing decisions, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and ensuring materials and equipment are delivered on time and on budget. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to drive long-term value

  • Create and manage procurement schedules aligned with production and project timelines

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for technically complex products and materials

  • Review drawings and specifications; prepare RFQs and issue accurate purchase orders

  • Expedite materials and resolve supply chain issues as they arise

  • Partner closely with project teams to support successful execution

  • Provide cost reporting, budget analysis, and cost-to-complete forecasts

  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments

What We're Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience managing direct reports

  • Background in procurement within construction, manufacturing, or a related technical field

  • Experience purchasing electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • High attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical specifications

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and comfort learning company-specific purchasing software

  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency with Office, SharePoint, and Adobe applications

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • U.S. Citizen

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience

  • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision)

  • Company-paid and supplemental life insurance

  • Short- and long-term disability coverage

  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match

  • Employee referral bonus program

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
