Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a critical role in developing and enhancing HR processes as we scale to align with a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This role will assist the Director of Human Resources build a strong HR foundation. The HR Generalist will focus on developing HR processes and workflows, executing HR initiatives, improving policies, and providing comprehensive HR support across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Assist in developing, implementing, and refining HR policies, processes, and procedures to support company growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain proper documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and related databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to support HR-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a trusted HR resource, addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including culture-building programs and retention strategies.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation and guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand company policies and procedures.
- Administer new hire 90-day surveys, stay interviews, exit interviews, and employee surveys to gather insights and drive improvements.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Assist in managing payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave administration.
- Provide support on compensation benchmarking, salary structure analysis, and benefits enhancements.
- Ensure employees are well-informed about benefits, wellness programs, and HR offerings
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- This is an in-office position requiring regular working hours at ECS headquarters.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as necessary.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Proficient experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics (experience with Paycom is a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of HR experience – required
- 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, growing company – preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field – preferred
