Summary
Completes various administrative and support tasks crucial to the effective functioning of the sanitation department during harvest. The emphasis of this position is on timely and professional communication with a focus on accurate recordkeeping and strong organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner with other departments to accomplish shared goals
- Adheres to company policy and department reporting guidelines regarding attendance, punctuality, GMP regulations, and workplace conduct
- Adheres to confidentiality and professionalism expectations regarding employee data, accommodation, complaints, safety occurrences and investigations.
- Directs seasonal staff members to the correct step in the reporting structure for their questions and concerns (Lead, Supervisor, Manager, HR)
- Independently manages workload but is receptive to feedback from supervisor & team members
- Tracks onboarding & training progress for seasonal sanitation crew members by utilizing department Training Log
- Coordinates seasonal team member schedules, tracks attendance, and records daily lunch & break times
- Verifies checklists, worksheets, and relevant forms are complete and correct
- Performs inventory & ordering of various items for the department and maintains record of use
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor but may receive task assignments from Sanitation Crew Leads based on the needs of the team. This position will communicate with individuals across the chain of command both inter- and intra-departmentally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adept at reading and utilizing charts, tables, lists, logs, and similar forms
- Ability to read, write, and converse in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
- Willingness to provide basic interpretive assistance in polite vocabulary
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Legible handwriting and good recordkeeping practices
- Experience working in a professional team environment and communicating with others
- Experience in scheduling and/or coordinating activities, events, and appointments
Working Conditions
- Most of each shift is performed in an office environment at a seated desk.
- Shifts will include exposure to exterior summer temperatures with and without shade.
- Shifts will include exposure to wet, cool, cold, and humid conditions inside the production plant near moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to sit and stand. You will frequently be required to walk, handle objects, and type. Infrequent physical job demands include bending, reaching, and ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance.

- This is a Swing shift position from approximately 5:00 pm to 12:30 am
- Overtime expected
