Enerpan Building Systems designs, engineers, and manufactures custom prefabricated modular buildings and equipment enclosures for critical infrastructure industries such as Fire Pump, HVACR, Electrical, Compressed Air, Oil & Gas, and Energy.
The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role supporting the engineering execution of large and complex projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating engineering deliverables, tracking project requirements and open issues, supporting code and compliance reviews, maintaining bills of material, and coordinating engineering changes between design, purchasing, and production. The Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, design engineers, production teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues and keep projects moving. Additional responsibilities include supporting production, improving engineering processes, and developing standards and tools that improve project execution.
Qualifications
- Engineering or technical project experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, bills of material, and construction documents.
- Experience coordinating engineering activities, RFIs, submittals, engineering changes, or similar project documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, requirements, and open issues.
- Familiarity with building codes, engineering standards, and regulatory or third-party review processes is preferred.
- Experience with BOM management, manufacturing processes, or ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and Vault is preferred.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to work directly with production teams.
