Accounting Administrator
Energy Select is a leading renewable energy company based in Leonardtown, Maryland, serving both Southern and Western Maryland. For over 25 years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solar and energy saving solutions to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for an experienced admin to join our team and help drive the company’s continued growth.
This position reports to the Finance Manager and plays a key role in overseeing the procurement of a large volume of equipment. A high level of attention to detail is essential, along with strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure company-wide compliance and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships and serve as the main point of contact for vendors
- Provide final approval on all material orders
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
- Develop and maintain annual pricing guides
- Find and research new suppliers for competitive pricing
- Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers
- Oversee and manage RFQs (requests for quotation)
- Ensure compliance within the purchase order system and internal processes
Responsibilities will also span across additional departments such as:
- Support timely material delivery with logistics
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Support inventory management processes and accuracy
- Keep track of and maintain knowledge of solar loans
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in a detail-oriented, desk-based role
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
