Customer Care Advocate
Energy Select is a leading renewable energy company based in Leonardtown, Maryland, serving both Southern and Western Maryland. For over 25 years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solar and energy saving solutions to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for an experienced admin to join our team and help drive the company’s continued growth.
As a customer care advocate you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our customer care, ensuring that our customers are aware of every step in the process. You will work with our customer care manager as the customer’s first point of contact and the face of the company for their project with us. You will be responsible for calling customers regularly, inter team communication to provide customers with updates, and ensuring issues are resolved to keep projects moving forward. This position is ideal for anyone who enjoys both problem solving and learning. The solar industry and process is constantly changing and is an exciting field to be a part of.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits alongside the Solar Manager to provide new customers with a comprehensive overview of their project scope, timeline, and expectations when needed
- Identify each customer’s preferred method of communication and deliver consistent, proactive updates, including regular outreach to address questions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations teams to identify solutions and ensure projects progress efficiently.
- Manage incoming inquiries through the primary customer phone line, delivering prompt and professional assistance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all active projects to ensure accurate and informed customer communication.
- Administer customer satisfaction surveys and actively promote reviews, ratings, and referral opportunities.
- Support customer communication and coordination across Operations & Maintenance, Remove and Re-install, and EV departments.
- Perform additional administrative responsibilities as required to support overall team operations.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
