Job Title: Maintenance Technician I

Overview: We are seeking a versatile and organized Maintenance worker. In this position, the maintenance tech will be responsible for performing repairs and routine upkeep for all the building's systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, by identifying issues and troubleshooting problems. If the work to be performed is outside the general knowledge of the maintenance tech, he will be responsible for organizing and overseeing vendors to complete the project.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing multiple store locations' maintenance needs.
• Does minor electrical repairs, drywall repairs, and interior/exterior painting
• Basic plumbing PVC and CPVC
• Maintain building landscaping, including snow removal for employee/customer safety via 3rd party contractors
• Provide HVAC monitoring/maintenance
• Performs basic installation of receptacles, switches, breakers, light bulbs and ballast
• Perform basic power equipment repairs and upkeep
• Perform basic carpentry
• Cabinetry repairs
• Soda Machine repairs, Locks, Flooring repairs
• Light welding and fabrication
• Refrigeration – rooftop and stand-alone, and coolers/freezers
• Perform regular walkthroughs of the stores
• Petroleum equipment service and replacement

Skills/Requirements

• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, but not limited to, a hammer, screwdriver, drill, wiring tools, level, and such
• Previous general maintenance experience 4 years required
• Knowledge of HVAC requiredKnowledge of electrical required
• Ability to plan and perform job duties
• Knowledge of hazards when working with petroleum equipment
• Provide hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and pliers
