DoD SME Scientist (CBRN) / Environmental

EnDyna, a woman-owned small business based in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Scientist – CBRN to support federal preparedness and response initiatives related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) incidents for a forthcoming Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency contract in the Washington, DC metro area. This program supports complex, multi-site federal environmental operations across compliance, sustainability, and resiliency initiatives.

Position Overview

The SME Scientist will provide senior-level technical expertise in planning, preparedness, response, and recovery for CBRN incidents, supporting mission-critical federal operations.

Position Requirements

Security

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering 15 years experience OR
• Master’s degree 13 years experience
  
  

Required Experience

• Planning and supporting CBRN response and recovery operations
• Coordinating with agencies and supporting meetings
• Writing CBRN plans and participating in drills/exercises
• Conducting threat assessments and mitigation planning
• Expertise in:
• Health exposure risks
• Decontamination procedures
• PPE levels and protocols
• Sampling strategies and field testing
• Laboratory analysis and QA
• Clearance goals and waste disposal
  

Preferred Experience

• DoD CBRN operational guidance
• Risk and vulnerability assessments
