**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate provider to work with children and adolescents with special needs in their home environments and potentially on community outings. The successful candidate will develop and implement individualized programs and activities that focus on enhancing the abilities and skills of each client, working closely with families and Care Coordinators to ensure holistic growth and development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement personalized development plans and activities tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and abilities.
- Build rapport with clients and families and develop understand clients' strengths and areas for growth, adjusting strategies as required.
- Use a variety of intervention techniques and educational activities to support developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with clients' families and Care Coordinators to provide updates on progress and collaboratively develop strategies for ongoing support.
- Provide an emotionally supportive and safe environment for clients to learn and grow.
- Maintain detailed records of client progress and activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children or adolescents with special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and corresponding therapeutic strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each client and adjust programs as necessary.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
