Job Summary
The HR Director leads people operations strategically, transforming talent into a competitive advantage. You will oversee all HR functions, focusing on recruiting top talent and building a culture of commitment. Manage compliance with Georgia regulations and enhance engagement to reduce turnover and boost morale. This onsite role requires full presence in Commerce, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, forecast staffing needs, and scale the team for growth.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Manage full-cycle recruiting, from job descriptions to onboarding. Create training programs to build skills and advance careers.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Address grievances, disputes, and performance issues with empathy and authority. Implement initiatives to increase job satisfaction.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive packages, including health benefits,
- Optimize budgets for maximum return on people investments.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to federal and state laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC). Conduct audits and maintain secure records.
- Team Building: Lead and mentor the HR team, promoting collaboration. Provide data-driven insights to executives on retention, diversity, and culture.
- Metrics & Innovation: Monitor KPIs such as retention and engagement using HRIS systems. Introduce efficient technologies and processes.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business, or related field (Master's or SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred). 7 years in HR leadership, including
- Experience in manufacturing/distribution/logistics preferred.
- Skills:Strong communication in verbal, written, and negotiation contexts.
- Proficient in data analysis with Excel and analytics tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building trust and resolving conflicts.
- Highly organized to manage multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, particularly Georgia regulations.
- Personal Fit: Resilient, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced onsite environment. Interest in Northeast Georgia activities is a plus.
