ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Product Development & Sourcing Coordinator to own the execution of products from concept to production. This role serves as the key liaison between Sales, the Creative Director, and manufacturing partners, ensuring designs created in Adobe Illustrator CADs are accurately translated into high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective finished goods. This person must be highly organized, factory-savvy, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of materials, timelines, and production constraints.
Product Development & Execution
- Manage the end-to-end product development process from approved CADs to final production
- Translate Adobe Illustrator CADs into factory-ready specifications, dielines, and tech packs
- Ensure accuracy in materials, dimensions, colors, finishes, and packaging details
- Oversee sampling, revisions, approvals, and final sign-off
Factory & Supplier Management
- Source, onboard, and manage domestic and international factories and vendors
- Act as primary point of contact between the company and manufacturing partners
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and production schedules
- Monitor factory performance to ensure quality, compliance, and deadlines are met
- Cross-Functional Liaison
- Serve as the communication bridge between Sales, Creative Director, and factories
- Align sales needs, creative vision, and manufacturing capabilities
- Flag potential production risks, cost issues, or timing conflicts early
- Provide clear timelines and status updates to internal teams
Quality Control & Production Management
- Review pre-production samples (PPS), color standards, and materials
- Ensure final products meet brand quality standards and approved specifications
- Coordinate production schedules, freight timelines, and delivery milestones
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions quickly
Costing & Documentation
- Create and manage detailed costing sheets
- Maintain organized records of specs, samples, revisions, and approvals
- Track product changes and version control throughout development
COMPETENCIES
- Experience in consumer goods, luxury packaging, food/confectionery, candles, or gifting
- Familiarity with retail production requirements
- Efficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Suite
- Strong experience working directly with factories (domestic and/or overseas)
- Excellent understanding of materials, packaging, and manufacturing processes
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Clear, professional communicator with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple products and timelines simultaneously
- Knowledge of compliance, labeling, and packaging standards
- Experience coordinating overseas production and freight timelines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3-6 years in a wholesale market-related role
